Units

Week 1

BASIC COLOUR THEORY + Working with value scales + Two must know watercolour techniques + Holding the brush tips + Painting a eucalyptus leaf + Painting a basic flower

Week 2

+ Inspiration & techniques for self expression + Limitless layers - the sky is your limit + Creative texture with creative layering portraying a koala + Journal making exercise + Finishing touches on mixed media

Week 3

DRAWING + Doodling + Pencils and different approaches + How to grid + Tracing paper + Shapes

Week 4

This week you are learning and implementing the water based paint, acrylic.

Week 5

Learning how to use alcohol inks, incorporating some coloured pencil work overlay, and fine ink liner pens.

Week 6

Week 6 is a combination of some of our learnt mediums to give you more creative places to continue with, as you will travel along this week to combine everything you have learnt to continue your good work thus far.

Week 7

Week 7 builds upon our learnings in the previous weeks, combining mediums and techniques. As we move through a variety of Australian scenes, you are now starting to plan and think about scenes you love and would like to tackle down the track.

Week 8

Week 8 builds upon your knowledge and understanding of of the previous weeks' mediums and techniques. As we move through a variety of Australian scenes, you are now starting to plan and think about scenes you love and would like to tackle down the track.
